Master Builders Care Foundation > Rampathon
Rampathon wins national honor
Last May, 450 volunteers contributed 4,060 hours and constructed 30 free wheelchair ramps for low-income disabled homeowners. Ramp recipients appreciated the hand right away, and now NAHB's Executive Officers Council added their admiration by naming Rampathon as its 2008 National Community Service Project of the Year. In addition to recognition, the honor was accompanied by a $1,000 cash contribution to the Master Builders Care Foundation from the National Housing Endowment.
