On Saturday, May 15, in King and Snohomish counties, 18 people found it much easier to get in and out of their homes. These folks were the recipients of new ramps provided by the Master Builders Care Foundation for Rampathon™ 2010. Along with the unbelievably generous help of the sponsors, donors and the Rampathon Committee, the ramp captains and their work crews volunteered to spend a full day building ramps, having fun and giving back to our community. Not a bad day at all.

Although, just vaguely mentioning the groups involved really doesn't do the day justice. If you look at the statistics, this year's Rampathon is pretty staggering. With donations of approximately 2,900 man hours and $90,000 of materials, you can really get a sense of the magnitude of community involvement that was needed to pull this off. Our hats go off to everyone who contributed in any way to the completion of this event, and we definitely want to take a bow to our ramp recipients.
